In Project Felix 0.3 there is a known issue with some minor artifacts in the renderer causing small blank pixels to appear.2 votes
Hello all! I wanted to notify you that we did fix this issue internally.
It’s caused when a material is using an image and the image is 16-bit. You can fix the issue by removing 16-bit images from any material properties.
I’ll provide an update when the version with the fix is available.
I can't install to Macbook Pro.
I don't really understand which requirement is missing, considering I'm on a Macbook, which is incredibly generic...
Any help is appreciated.1 vote
The objects do not appear, they look as if they are invisible13 votes
Hello everyone! Thank you all for your patience with this bug. We do not yet have a fix in place but we have developed a mechanism for us to gather more specific information. At this point we need some volunteers who can reproduce the issue to try running a special build which generates log files for us to collect.
If anyone would like to volunteer please send an e-mail to email@example.com and I will send you an invite to our NDA prerelease to download the build and instructions on gathering and submitting the logs.
Appreciate anyone who can help us test this out.
Known Issue as of Felix 0.2.0 March 28th Release.
Objects sometimes render black. This is caused by the object having no UV information and using a material which includes any image inputs.
Solution: The object will need to have UV information created and then be re-saved.
We're working a better automatic solution for rendering objects with no UVs.1 vote
We are working on potential solutions for objects which render black when they have no UV information.
